Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with rapidly fluttering deep bass #9365

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Tulipwood Wand

Well worn Manipuri with well worn complex interior etching and smoky patina. The bowl has a small inconsequential crack at the bottom.

Powerful pulsing overtone on top of a rapidly fluttering deep bass and also strong singing high. Very good harmony. This is a high powered bowl capable of sustained high volume.

Good rim play, the bass is a bit difficult leather but comes up eventually. Overtones smoothly play powerfully with stronger leather technique, Next overtone requires a tiny wand. Fine strong bowl, marked down a bit for the physical flaw.. With overtones at D5, C#6, A6.
