Polished Manipuri with an unusual turned out rim. The bowl has seen a lot of inside wear outside. Inside is a lot of worn etching.
Penetrating premium quality soundscape which changes over time, introducing notes and finally simplifying int the overtone. The sound is exceptional while the longevity is good.
The turned out rim makes for great stick play. Good clear bass which is unusual for this size and range in Manipuri. Overtone and next high with wood and wand respectively. Rated exceptional for sound and the unique shape’s playing ability.. With overtones at G5, F#6, D7.
