Tiny Adorned Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with woo woo primary tone #9651

9651 Tiny Adorned Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with woo woo primary tone #9651

1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N101 Small Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Ebony Wand

Tiny yet thick Manipuri with a long inscription. This old bowl has a broad outer facing rim and some basic etching. Slowly bouncing super high woo woo fundamental tone plays with a single clear overtone. This is quite a simple and focused soundscape for such a high tone Manipuri. Resonant with very good harmony and sustain. Unlike many high frequency Manipuri this one can be played for the fundamental off the rim. Wood for overtones plays stronger, wands stronger and higher still. With overtones at E6, D#7, A#7.
