Thick Adorned Circle & Leaf Pattern Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl #9677

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Tulipwood Wand

Thick punch and leaf design Manipuri with vestiges of elaborate interior etching, The bowl has a flared rim with circles on it and dark original patina.

Woo-woo bass and fluttering overtone provide energy from the start, however over the course of the sustain they mellow out. Very good harmony, average longevity.

Unusual rim play, simple wood can tease out the bass while a bit more pressure plays the overtone. A beautiful example of the old artwork.. With overtones at A#5, G#6, F7, A#7.
