X-Thick Distinctive Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with steady high #9681

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood

Extra-thick Manipuri with a broad rim flared inside and out with original patina. This nicely preserved bowl has clear etching including elaborate work on the rim.

Very steady super high pitched soundscape, quite simple and focused on the fundamental. Very good harmony. Longevity is OK, best to use a large precision mallet to impart energy broadly into the bowl.

Decent basic rim play, fundamental with some chatter. Best to play this with a mallet. A super rare large high pitched Manipuri.. With overtones at D#6, D7.
