Thin very worn Manipuri with original patina. The bowl is smooth to the touch. Played softly this bowl has a nice fairly short lived deep bass. with a higher mallet lots of complexity and overtones with good longevity. Fine wood rim play, easy lots of volume and smooth both with a simple ringing stick and a wand for overtones. Even a bit of bass with leather can be sung. With overtones at C5, B5, G6.
