Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with strengthening and fading tone #9967
9967 Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with strengthening and fading tone #9967
1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Tiny Yew Wand |
Larger Manipuri with clear elaborate exterior artwork and very worn vestiges inside and on the rim. Pulsing soundscape with both bass and overtone strengthening and fading. Above is a subtle singing high. Excellent longevity. The sharp rim is a bit of a challenge, simple wood is the easiest but the give in the yew wand makes for the smoothest sound. With overtones at D5, C#6, G#6.
