6837 Antique Pedestal Singing Bowl with rich original patina

Thick Pedestal / Naga , very heavy for it’s size. The bowl has a handful of eternal lines and dark patina. The initial clear strike tone sings with overtones in the background. Rim play is good though the roughness of the patina makes for a bit of scratchiness when using a simple ringing stick. If you really want to hear the rim play use the massive soft wood yew wand. With that implement the bowl practically plays itself, and very smoothly (second half recording 2) With overtone at A#6, G#7, F6.
