Huge super thick Pedestal with exterior etching and a thick rim. The bowl has consistent brassy patina and a clear inscription. Bouncing fundamental tone with a singing overtone. The sound is rich, resonant with very good sustain. The tone is as about as high as you will find in a big Pedestal bowl, a function of th4 thickness. Fine strong fundamental tone with leather. Simple wood or leather will spin a mix of tones. For the pure 1 KHz overtone use a tiny wand as in the recording. Fantastic super large and heavy bowl. With overtones at B5, A#6.
