Very large thick Rajasthani origin bowl with clear deep etching and light patina. The style has a flat stable bottom. Softly pulsing deep bass and overtone in a focused soundscape premium quality harmony. Sustain is very good. With a higher tone mallet the bowl sings upper regist4ers easily. Fine rim play, the peacefully pulsing bass arises quickly and smoothly when played off the side with leather. Simple wood, surprisingly, spins out the second overtone. It takes the soft yew massive wand to touch down to the first overtone. A great value for a big adorned bowl. With overtones at D#4, D#5. Perfect A2 – 110 Hz.
