5474 Black Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with fluttering and singing tones
Thick, open shaped Thadobati with sharp looking artwork inside. The color of the bowl is almost black. This is not patina but a deliberate coloring by the artist. You can see on some of the high spots on the bottom of the bowl where the coloring has been worn away. A balanced and harmonious mix of fluttering and singing tones. The bowl is responsive and can be played for the softer lows. Premium harmony with only fair longevity. Not much of a rim bowl, just a bit of sound with leather. With overtones at A#5, G#6.
