9822 Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with bright fluttering main tone

Large straight sided Thadobati with extensive art. An unusual bowl with broad deep circles and colorful patina. It is a thick bowl, looks extra thick due to the wide decorated rim that faces inward. Bright soundscape with a fluttering main tone and some clear overtones. It has a bit of that hollow timbre like a Mani, possibly a function of that rim. Longevity is only fair. Good play off the rim, pure tone with leather, sometimes the overtone sometimes a mix with wood. With overtones at A5, G#6, D#7, D#5.
