Rare Super thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl Intriguing soundscape #3272

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Long Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Incredibly thick very old large and heavy Thadobati. The bowl has a gold copper color mixed with darker patina. You can see the remnants of the clearly arched designs. through which a bit of design shows through. The bowl has a rim broad enough for four relief lines. This is about as thick and heavy as any singing bowl from the Himalayas comes, a truly rare piece. Intriguing soundscape with a middle range strike tone and a perfect 880 Hz primary overtone. In the recording the strike tone is primary in the sustain, sometimes the bowl reacts so that the overtone is all you hear 30 seconds out. There are layers of overtones above giving the soundscape depth. Sustain is very good, excellent for a super-thick bowl. Spectacular off the rim, easy with huge volume both leather and wood. Leather is very smooth, primary tone alone. Wood especially a hard wand plays the overtone (second half recording 2) With overtones at A5, G#6, D#7, D#8. Overtone: Perfect A5 – 880 Hz.
