Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with Fluttering super high tone #3920
3920 Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with Fluttering super high tone #3920
1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Yew Wand |
Thick Large Thadobati with a broad inner facing rim and quite a bit of old etching visible under the consistent original patina. Inside the bowl around the wide inner circles the bowl is colored in muted red and greens. Fluttering super high tone fundamental, at the top for this size and style, very nicely matched with a less active overtone. Good harmony and sustain. Spinning the rim is all about the fundamental tone.Lather is fine so long as you put enough force into the spin. Faster and smoother uptake with the soft yew than simple wood. With overtone at E6.
