Antique Large Thadobati Singing Bowl with versatile rim play
3950 Antique Large Thadobati Singing Bowl with versatile rim play
1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand then FP Tiny Yew Wand |
Brassy large Thadobati with thinly etched interior circles and uneven decorative slash marks outside. A bouncing, active and strong overtone is sandwiched in between a solid deep bass and a solid high second overtone. Initially the bass is stronger, by 30 seconds out in the sustain it is the high overtone. The soft bass can be teased off the rim, peaceful and smooth. The overtones play up with harder pressure, lots of power and activity. A massive Zebrawood wand really shows up the overtones and their excellent longevity. Bonus super highs with a tiny wand. With overtones at A4, G#5, E6, B6.
