Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a soft bass with a solid middle
3958 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a soft bass with a solid middle
Thin large Thadobati that is mostly clean and bright except for a red copper patch inside. Deep soft bass with a solid middle and unfolding singing high which comes to full strength late in the sustain. Fine off the smooth thin rim. All tones and overtones are easily played, bass not so pure but the highs that are emergent come across with strength. Good rim longevity. Responds well to wood or leather. With overtones at A#4, G#5, E6.
