Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a complex oscillation pattern

4015 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a complex oscillation pattern

Large Thadobati with original patina and the faint remains of an extensive punch circle design. This is quite a soundscape to listen into, a complex oscillation pattern with a 1-2-3-4 tapping bass and slow siren like overtone pulsing and fading together wile solid overtones sing above. Really something! Excellent longevity to go with the premium harmony. You can hear the strength of the tones at the end of the 40 second recording. Great easy leather rim play, more siren and less of the bas tapping. For the wand I used a different method of rapidly moving the stick back and forth along a short part of the rim. See if you can hear the method as I tweak out the next overtones. Exceptional. With overtones at D#5, D#6, A6, D#7. Perfect A3 (432 Hz Scale) – 216 Hz.
