Large Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a pair of woo-woo notes

4018 Large Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a pair of woo-woo notes

Very old Large Thadobati with uneven thick walls and dark original patina. This simple bowl could be many hundreds of years old based on the metallic presentation. Balanced three tone soundscape with a pair of woo-woo notes, most prominently the overtone which is what plays into the sustain. Premium harmony. Lots of power off the rim, it takes technique to generate pure tones otherwise what you get mostly is a mix of tones though that strong overtone is prominent with leather and wood. Exceptional sound. With overtones at D#5, D#6, A6. Perfect A3 – 220 Hz.
