4076 Deep Mirror Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with complex active tones
1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Tulipwood Wand |
Polished large circle pattern Thadobati. The artwork is well worn, none remaining inside and the polish an overlay over old patina – just bits have that deep mirror quality. Complex with multiple active tones, the rich premium harmony plays throughout an excellent sustain. The bowl retains is multi faceted sound throughout providing a lot to listen in to. Powerful rim play. The bowl naturally tends to the bass so it is easy to bring that part of the soundscape to volume. First overtone longevity is off the charts excellent. Wands can tease out the next high somewhat roughly. With overtones at E5, E6, B6, F7.
