Deep Mirror Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a delightful flutter
4077 Deep Mirror Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a delightful flutter
Circle patten old Thadobati that was polished to a deep mirror finish and is now building its second layer of patina. The exterior punch circles are clear because they were so strong to begin with, the rest of the art is faint or gone. Lively and complex to start this bowl settles down to a delightful flutter. Very nice harmony and excellent sustain. Fine rim play. The bowl naturally tends to the bass so it is easy to bring that part of the soundscape to volume. First overtone is played with wood and has that wonderful flutter. Excellent longevity. Wands sing out the next high with smooth and easy intensity. With overtones at E5, , , .
