Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a fluttering overtone
4184 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a fluttering overtone
Large Thadobati once fully adorned inside and out and now just showing vestiges of the old artwork. Along with the brassy patina this is a fine example of how the bowls changed with long use. A mid octave 3 bass is quickly in the background as the fluttering overtone takes the center of attention. You can also hear traces of the next high. Ok sustain and harmony. Fine rim play with leather – which is pretty much all you’d want to try with this bowl. Strong easily played tones. With overtones at C5, C6, G6, C#7. Solfeggio – MI 528 Hz Overtone.
