Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with soft bass under a swirling overtone

4208 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with soft bass under a swirling overtone

1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Yew Wand then FP Ebony Wand

Large circle pattern Thadobati with clear deep inner etching. In addition to the unevenly placed punch circles the artist has chosen to add an array of quarter moon hash marks. Unusual. Subtle soft bass under a swirling overtone and also subtle high. The overtone becomes relatively stronger throughout the very good sustain. Almost surprisingly stick play with leather is a strong pure bass, after all the overtone is most prominent with a mallet. Next level highs with wood and wand. Shooting for the ultra highs is a bit rough due to the relatively sharp uneven rim. With overtones at C#5, C6.
