Adorned Exceptional Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with an inscription
4209 Adorned Exceptional Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with an inscription
Large Thadobati with rounded walls, a rounded bottom and a wide rim. It has a clear two character inscription indicating Indian origin. Slow deep pulsing bass, one second from quiet to quiet with a gently spinning overtone and supporting highs. Excellent longevity, premium harmony. Spectacular rim play, the leather side spins out a strong bass or a mix with overtones. Wood delivers overtones, note at the end of recording 2 how smooth the massive wand follow through is. This bowl has everything going for it, harmony, power, complexity and even a rare inscription. Exceptional. With overtones at C#5, C#6, G#6.
