Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a woo-woo bass tone #4233
4233 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a woo-woo bass tone #4233
1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone |
Large circle pattern Thadobati with worn deeply etched inner circles. The bowl has rich hammermark patina. Solid overtone under a thin swirling next high overtone, not much volume but a presence with effect. Under it all is the bass pulsing woo-woo like but not so strong as to disturb the general solidity of the soundscape. Fine longevity, premium harmony. Great rim play. The peaceful woo-woo bass spins off easily, it has that pulse but gently so. The more active overtone leaps off the rim with the big wand. Great middle tone longevity. The tiny tulipwood wand pins out the next highs including the third overtone. With overtones at D5, C6, G#6, D7.
