Deep Mirror Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with Woo-woo overtone
4448 Deep Mirror Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with Woo-woo overtone
Huge Thadobati, large thick and heavy with hundreds of hand etched tick marks around the outer rim. This bowl looks to have been polished many times, in places the finish is mirror like in others, mostly deep spots, darker patina prevails. Some simple artwork appears inside and on the rim. Woo-woo overtone and softly pulsing bass soundscape. It is subtle so the peaceful nature of the lower tone comes through. Longevity and harmony are good. Just great off the rim with a simple stick. The bowl is smooth and responsive, the leather brings out the subtle harmonies. Excellent sustain off the rim, better than mallet because the mass of this bowl allows you to impart more energy into it than a simple strike. Not a wand bowl. With overtones at D#5, , .
