Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with clear brassy and complex sound
4457 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with clear brassy and complex sound
Triple circle Thadobati, a very old bowl based on the vestiges of a crushed rim. This was likely a much thicker bowl originally as a sharp version of the rim type is always on a thick bowl. Clear brassy and complex, a solid bass with prominent active overtones. Very good sustain and harmony. Great rim play, especially easy to bring to volume with leather. You can try for the bass or a mix of overtones. For the high notes use the ebony tiny wand. Excellent rim longevity. With overtones at F#5, , , .
