Large Thadobati with wild red and green coloration inside. Originally an elaborately etched piece with punch circles around the outer edge and etching inside the bowl has been worn heavily from use. You can see traces of the told ripple circle design, an indicator of superior sound. Powerful and responsive bowl, this one puts out a tremendous amount of sound easily. Sustain is excellent – all the power is directed into the air. This is a lively energizing soundscape that sings and flutters. Tremendously complex. Great rim play, especially the easy to spin bass with leather. with wood there is a world of sound, layers of overtones great with a wand. Impressive bowl. With overtones at D5, , , .
