Very large round shaped Thadobati 7 1/2 inches with rich hammermark patina and lots of clear deep hand etching inside. Complex and resonant with a woo-woo middle tone sandwiched between a metallic singing high and a slow moving bass. Good harmony and sustain. Great rim play, absolutely outstanding sustain as you can hear in recording 2. Bass or overtone with leather. The wood side of a basic ringing stick also teases out some of the higher partials.
