Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a bell like start, woo-woo finish #4509

4509 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a bell like start, woo-woo finish #4509

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Tulipwood Wand

Mid-sized Thadobati worn smooth from use with an unusual dark bottom and consistent creamy patina. Nicely balanced bell like start, quite the low tone for such a relatively small light bowl. Only later in the good sustain does the woo-woo overtone come to prominence. Premium harmony. Spectacular rim play good strong bass with leather and the woo-woo overtone plays strongly with leather as well. Simple wood will also play the overtones but a mix. The middle wands like tulipwood will spin higher still and finally kingwood hist the alto top. With overtones at C#5, C#6, D#7.
