Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with nicely harmonious mix of tones
4516 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with nicely harmonious mix of tones
1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap |
2 Medium Ringing Stick leather |
Simple large Thadobati with rich original patina. A somewhat heavy bowl worn smooth from use. Lively and upbeat soundscape, nicely harmonious within the mix of notes. The bright activity continues throughout a very good sustain. Fine rim play. For the bass a large ringing stick leather side is good, that big stick will sing out the overtone with wood somewhat roughly. For a smooth pure overtone buy a second smaller ringer which plays that note smoothly with leather. With overtones at E5, , , .
