Large Thadobati with rich dark patina. The bowl is smooth to the touch from many years of hand wear with the only remaining etching faint inner circle. Super deep strike tone for a Thadobati which plays solidly and peacefully under a softly pulsing overtone. Very good sustain. An excellent combination of frequencies and oscillations for a calming meditative experience. Harmony is premium, something very rare for such a large deep toned Thadobati. Great edge play, the bass comes out more from the side of the bowl. The overtones in their deep complexity sing easily and smoothly with a bit more pressure. Those notes have quite a presence. With a massive wand the overtones play more brassily, with a tiny yew wand, wow – next level highs cleanly with power.
