Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with bright resonant bass
4522 Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with bright resonant bass
1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Tulipwood Wand |
Large Thadobati on the thicker and heavy side with original patina. Originally elaborately etched, nicely visible punch circles go around the outer edge and five circles grace the bottom. Bright resonant soundscape where the fundamental bass tone is almost a forethought. It is what you hear first and quickly it fades to give space to a pair of matched overtones. Good longevity. Powerful rim play, good solid bass with leather strong and clear overtone then next high with wood and wand. With overtones at D5, , , .
