You can see vestiges of the old artwork and the bowl has the glow of one that has been cleaned over its long life. The rim is wide and in the old style crushed into the bowl. Textured super rapidly fluttering fundamental with a clear less active overtone. The soundscape is energizing in a subtle fashion. Premium harmony and excellent sustain from this extremely heavy bowl. It takes a bit of effort to spin the rim of this bowl but once it begins to play the fast pulsing fundamental and first overtone can be isolated and heard in their individual glory. The unusual quality this bowl has is how shallow or small in intensity the changes are from loud to soft within each musical partial. In the right circumstances than can be a valuable attribute to deploy. With overtones at A#5, G#6, E7.
