Thadobati

Thadobati singing bowls with their tall straight sides and flat bottoms are the most popular style of singing bowl. By virtue of their shape, they have the largest sweet spot and are the easiest to play. Thadobati cover a wide range of tones, 3 ½ octaves, with the highest frequencies topping 1000 Hz. They range in size from 3 to 8 inches across. Small thinner Thadobati bowls can weigh under half a pound while the largest ones can top 3 Lbs. the oldest examples can be extremely thick. Artwork can be elaborate with patterns made from small punched circles and artistic rims.
