4569 Huge Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a powerful main tone #4569

1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Super extra thick and large Thadobati with a flared out rim. This very old bowl has rough hammermarks and, very rare for this sub-style, a crushed rim. The coloration is varied, red, green, gold and sparkles with etching peering through. Powerful pulsing fundamental tone is the strongest note assisted by a swirling next level high. With all it’s 4 pounds of mass this bowl is able to put energy into the bottom of the bowl as well as the air. Longevity is quite good for such a thick piece. Great rim play. It is surprising a bowl so rough in look plays so smoothly. With leather you pick up the fundamental effortlessly. As you continue to spin the laten power of the bowl’s impressive mass comes into play and volume can be driven to unbelievable levels. Excellent bass rim sustain. With wood a mix of bass and overtone is what the bowl angles towards. With overtones at G5, F6.
