Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with upbeat active soundscape #4618

4618 Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with upbeat active soundscape #4618

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Yew Wand

Large thick Thadobati with a wide out shape and an unusual old style crushed rim. The bowll has some interesting artwork. A musical sounding singing bowl with an upbeat active soundscape. While mostly the fundamental and first overtone the second high also adds to the mix. Good longevity and even better harmony. Really nice rim play. I found using a relatively small ringing stick that the bowl could be powered up to the point where you would see the rim shaking and still maintain contact. A great way to play the bass tone. Any wood will do for the overtone but the smooth massive yew wand is the nicest, it plays almost as smooth as leather. With overtones at F#5, F6, C#7, G7.
