Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with an uneven deep fundamental tone #4638

4638 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with an uneven deep fundamental tone #4638

1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Large very round Thadobati with a bit or worn interior etching. The bowl has brassy partina. Uneven deep fundamental tone under a solid overtone. Very simple, you could even say dull soundscape which continues with quite good longevity. Rim play is anything but dull. The bowl has hidden overtones that jump off the rim. Quite unusually it will play the second overtone with leather (second part recording 2). Excellent rim longevity. With overtones at B4, A#5, F#6.
