Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with subtle power #4758
4758 Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with subtle power #4758
1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Tulipwood Wand |
Very large heavy Thadobati with circular etching inside and out. This elaborately adorned bowl has multi-color patina including a hazy copper green. Fluttering bass and woo woo overtone in a relatively simple and contained soundscape. This massively heavy bowl is a source of subtle power. Fine sustain and harmony. The raw power of this bowl really comes across with rim play. Played for bass or overtone with leather the mass of the bowl vibrates strongly, rim play is smooth. A wand teases out higher notes. Impressive rim longevity. With overtones at C#5, C6, G#6.
