2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand then FP Ebony Wand |
Thick large Thadobati, very old style, with a broad rim and elaborate etching. The bowl has exterior dots, what remains of the rare triple circle pattern. It is smooth to the touch from long use. Powerful and highly responsive bowl with a steady droning undertone and fluttering prominent high. Excellent sustain, it really holds its tone. Very good harmony. Absolutely spectacular rim play. It hits all the marks, bass, overtone and second high – easily, smoothly excellent volume and sustain. With overtones at G5, G6, D7.
