Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with complex soft oscillations #2077

2077 Thick Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with complex soft oscillations #2077
1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Ebony Wand |
Thick and heavy Thadobati with bright coloration all around and copper sparkles inside. Complex soundscape with a super rapid fluttering primary tone and a series of well matched active overtones. The oscillations are really special, fast but not deep so you get motion without too much intensity. The overtones help mellow the primary tone out. Excellent longevity, the bowl will go for a minute. Rim play is strong but a bit deceptive. The rim tends to the overtone and the overtone is quite active but it is still slower than the hidden primary tone. Fantastic energizing bowl. With overtones at G6, F#7.
