Thick flashy Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with lively bouncing bass

4937 Thick flashy Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with lively bouncing bass

Thick hybrid bowl, a mixture of Thadobati and Remuna styles. The bowl is a real showpiece, extensive etching, multiple textures , deliberate hammermarks and a super flat bottom. One of a kind. Lively bouncing primary tone with what seems to be a single overtone. Over time the overtone becomes the sole carrier of sound. Good longevity. The heavy bottom makes this a very stable bowl to play with a ringing stick. Bass and overtone come smoothly. A wand is the strongest wood and plays a bit of a higher note. With overtones at D6, C#7, G#7.
