Thick Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with super solid sound #5060
5060 Thick Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with super solid sound #5060
1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap. |
2 Medium Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Yew Wand then FP Ebony Wand |
Thick Thadobati circle pattern with nicely preserved inner artwork The bowl has dark patinas and a classical crushed rim. Very well balanced and extremely solid soundscape, This premium harmony bowl projects peacefully at its high frequency. Longevity is ok, it holds volume initially well but only sings for 30 seconds or so (which is by no means a rush to silence). Good rim play. Leather can slowly build enough energy in the bowl to sing out the fundamental. A yew wand is smoothest to volume for the overtone. Ebony comes in somewhere in the middle. With overtones at A6, G7.
