Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with softly fluttering high main tone.
5068 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with softly fluttering high main tone.
1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N101 Small Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Kingwood Wand |
Extra thick circle pattern Thadobati with a mostly bright finish. While the bowl has many of the finest old features including a broad “crushed” rim, it has seen significant hand wear so their appearance is muted. Pleasing soundscape with some initial overtones that recede to give the softly fluttering high primary tone center stage. A softer touch can mute the flutter. Longevity is good. It takes some time spinning the rim to get the bowl to sing and then volume and longevity is not high. With overtones at C#7, B7.
