Brassy and Harmonious Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with 2 tone finish

5610 Brassy and Harmonious Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with 2 tone finish
Unique flat bottomed bowl with flared out sides. The thin sides and a heavy bottom make this an unusually stable little bowl. The outside of the bowl has a sharp and clear inscription. Brassy and harmonious with a hard mallet strike this bowl calms down into a simple balanced two tone sustain. With a soft mallet (second part recording 1) you can start off with those softly pulsing tones. Sustain is fair. The unfolding rim is just great for ringing stick play, very smooth. With overtones at C#6, B6, G7, G5.
