Thick Thadobati with worn etching and copper sparkles inside. The bowl has consistent creamy external patina. Intense C5 soundscape. The bowl has multiple higher frequencies singing above the super solid fundamental. As it gets later in the sustain – which is excellent – the purity of the main tone fills the soundscape. The bowl plays with the focused intensity of a glass or ceramic bowl. Very unusual for an antique bronze. Fine rim play, leather for the bass, overtones with wood and wand. Rated exceptional for the solid mallet drone on the fundamental. With overtones at F#6, E7, C8.
