Adorned Exceptional Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with inscription

7024 Adorned Exceptional Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with inscription

Incredibly tiny little bowl – a real work of art only 3 inches across. It has dark, almost black patina and tiny a long inscription . Just delightful. Sweet high pitched fluttering and somewhat complex toneset, rather wonderful to have this kind of sound come out of such a tiny object. Longevity is short as would be expected with the size. The bowl does retain volume initially rather than drop off . Rather nice rim play. The bowl has just enough mass to stay put as you spin it. The kingwood wand can be applied with different techniques to sin gout different parts of the soundscape. Unless you like the softer strike of the high pitch mallet just buy the Kingwood wand to tap the bowl and try for that bit of rim play. This is an exceptional bowl, so tiny with so much sound in it and wonderfully adorned, the inscription means it was someone’s special bowl long in the past. With overtone at F7.
