Exceptional Tiny Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with fluttering main
7175 Exceptional Tiny Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with fluttering main
1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N101 Small Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Tiny Yew Wand |
Tiny Thadobati with old black coloring worn off except in the low spots. Any old etching is long gone. Rapidly fluttering main tone and at least for part of the time a singing next note up. The harmony is premium. What is surprising and exceptional is the sustain. Not only is it long in duration but it is extraordinarily even in how the sound decays over time. This is quite a rare characteristic. The rim is about the overtones, nice and strong with wood and wand. With overtones at F#6, F7, C8.
