Thin Thadobati with flared out walls and simple etching. A solid bass gently pulsing overtone and the flittering in and out of the next high. Pleasant tone, very deep for the size with good sustain. Fine rim play. Fundamental with leather is weak but the overtone with simple leather is powerful. Ebony or Tulipwood does a fine job of singing out higher overtones while Kingwood hits the next level. Smaller low tone third octave Thadobati bowls are rare and a low cost option. With overtones at E5, E6, B6, F7.
