7299 Deep Mirror Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with an evolving woo-woo
1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap. |
2 Medium Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Ebony Wand |
Mid-size Thadobati brightly polished to a mirror like finish. This thick bowl has a bit of muted artwork inside. Outside it has the look of molded putty. A clear singing high over a bouncing woo-woo fundamental tone in a simple soundscape with very good sustain. This is a resonant bowl that evolved from a strong woo-woo to an even mix with the high. This is a really easy rim to play for the fundamental tone. Leather or wood it comes out smoothly and easily. Ebony wand sings the next high. With overtones at D6, G#7.
