Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a rare third octave fundamental
7340 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a rare third octave fundamental
Thin worn Thadobati with a worn line of exterior slashes. The bowl is bright and shiny. Very deep bass for such a small bowl, a rare third octave fundamental. It plays basically two solid notes the bass and overtone with the overtone being the strongest and the one heard at the end. Ok longevity. Fine stick play, soft bass with leather off the side of the bowl. The wood overtones are surprisingly strong and clear. The smooth rim makes for satisfying play. With overtones at F5, F6, C7.
